Are you a baseball fan, player, or coach? This plaque is on a stand, so you can place it on your desk, shelf, or any flat surface to remind you of your interest in our national pastime. I cut the figure by hand on a scroll saw from 1/8-inch thick baltic birch plywood and attached it to a 1/2-inch thick poplar backer painted blue. Then, I added this assembly to a 1/2-inch thick oak base and completed the entire project with two coats of spray polyurethane to preserve the wood for many years.
The final dimensions are 8 1/4 inches wide, 8 1/4 tall, and three deep.
